Privacy
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, company name, country, email, WhatsApp number, buyer type, brands, model numbers, quantities, target market, timeline and message.
- Direct contact: whatever you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- Website analytics: pages viewed, the site that referred you, approximate location (country and city), device and browser type, and actions such as clicking the WhatsApp or email links. This is collected through Google Analytics using cookies and similar technology, subject to your cookie choice (see below).
- Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address and request time to run and secure the site.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, check availability and prepare commercial offers.
- To manage an ongoing trade relationship, including orders, documents and shipments.
- To understand which pages and markets are useful to buyers and improve the website.
- To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use the enquiry form to add you to marketing lists without asking.
Who processes it for us
- Formspree delivers enquiry form submissions to our email.
- Google provides Google Analytics.
- Netlify hosts the website.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages if you contact us there.
These providers may store data outside the UAE, including in the United States and Europe. We use them only to run this website and our sourcing business.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and trade correspondence for as long as needed to respond and serve you, and afterwards for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require. Analytics data is kept under Google Analytics retention settings.
Cookies and your choice
We use Google Analytics cookies only, to count visits and see which pages are useful. We do not use advertising cookies. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first, and analytics cookies stay off unless they accept. You can change your choice at any time: open cookie settings.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you are, data protection laws such as the UAE Personal Data Protection Law or the EU General Data Protection Regulation may give you the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email info@dotmeinternational.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
